February 2017 - WIP - Carbon Freezing Chamber Environment

One of the most iconic scenes of film history, the duel between Vader and Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, began in Cloud City's carbon freezing chamber. Visually striking, I challenged myself to model it.

Using CV Curves and Standard Primitives, I was able to successfuly emulate the floor and staircase in which Luke and Vader duel on. This project has been sitting "on the shelf" for a while, which is evident in the lack of detail in the renders.

However, this proved to be a very important lighting exercise for me as I had to assign light shaders to models, and control the intensity of the light emitting.
